What you pay

Debited from a prepaid balance at the moment the domain is registered, once, with an idempotency key.

Live prices

Prices move when registries move them, so this page does not list them. Ask the API and you get today's figure for the top-level domain you care about.

Paying

You top up a balance; your agent spends it. That order matters: an agent cannot complete a card payment, because the bank's authentication step needs you. So you pay once, in a browser, through Stripe's own checkout page, and from then on your agent registers domains with nobody in the loop.

Nothing on this website takes a payment. The CLI hands you a Stripe link; card details never reach whydot.
